 MICS Right Thoracotomy TDT
mircsp mitral manual composite
  • TDT models facilitate coronary sinus placement through a right thoracotomy with tip deflection aligned with slide control. mircsp tdt manualtip sweep
  • Tip deflection up to 40 degrees on manual-inflate models (and up to 30 degrees on auto-inflate models) assists insertion and advancement into the coronary sinus.
  • Tip can be rotated through 10 mm of side-to-side sweep range in the deflected position.
  • Silicone material of the balloon and body along with the wire winding in manual-inflate models is visible on echo.
  • Radiopaque bands on both auto-inflate and manual-inflate models are located at each end within the balloon and can be visualized by fluoroscopy.

Due to limitations of direct visualization during minimally invasive techniques, echocardiographic or fluoroscopic imaging is recommended.

auto-inflate

Also available in auto-inflate model with echogenic balloon.

Extreme caution should be exercised while introducing the cannula into the coronary sinus. Do not force the cannula into the coronary sinus as this may cause vessel damage.
