Diversity: Diversity and Inclusion Councils

We have both corporate and business-level Diversity and Inclusion Councils to foster an inclusive, accepting environment.

CEO Council on Diversity and Inclusion

As the name implies, this council is headed by our CEO, Bill Hawkins, and includes senior leaders who understand the business imperative of creating an inclusive work environment. They understand the need to attract and retain highly talented employees with diverse backgrounds and skill sets. They monitor the hiring and advancement of women and minorities in management, shape company policy, and champion programs that lead to a more inclusive culture.

In addition to spearheading the council, Bill created the annual CEO Inclusion Awards to recognize individuals, teams, inclusion councils, and business units that foster a highly accepting work environment.

Business Unit Diversity and Inclusion Councils

Each business and geography has its own Diversity and Inclusion Council to help ensure initiatives are offered across the company. The councils recommend programs that help employees reach their full potential, set priorities for addressing diversity issues, and serve as diversity champions throughout the organization.
