Hospitals are under increasing cost pressure, and as our health care system continues to evolve, external regulators and the public increase their expectations from our industry.
Quality is, in effect, an ever-increasing target. We can never be content with what we achieved last year, last quarter or even yesterday. The bar is continually being raised, and we must work together to surpass it.
Suppliers must begin the quality process by exceeding our expectations – and we expect them to collaborate with Medtronic throughout the entire process. Providing good quality contributes to fulfilling the Medtronic mission of alleviating pain, restoring health and extending life.
