Bio-Medicus^® One-Piece Femoral Arterial Cannulae

Alternative-access option

These cannulae are available in both pediatric and adult sizes. The adult cannulae are the alternative access cannulae of choice for use with the Bio-Pump^® Centrifugal Blood Pump. The pediatric cannulae models are ideal for use in pediatric patients requiring alternative access for cardiopulmonary bypass. All Bio-Medicus^® cannulae are available with the Carmeda^® BioActive Surface*.

Pediatric models

• The thin-wall, flat wirewound polyurethane construction maximizes flow rates and cannula flexibility
• Feature beveled tips
• Feature flexible, round tip plastic introducers that facilitate insertion under direct visualization
• Feature a 1/4" non-vented connector

Adult models

• The unique flat wirewound, polyurethane construction of the cannula allows for the thinnest possible wall construction, maximizing flow rates and cannula flexibility
• Feature multiport tips
• Can be inserted percutaneously over a 0.038" guidewire or under direct visualization
• Feature a 3/8" vented connector
