Cardiotomy Reservoirs/Blood Collection

Cardiotomy Reservoirs are indicated for use in cardiopulmonary bypass circuits during surgery. Intended uses include: an air-fluid separation chamber; a temporary storage reservoir for priming solutions; filtration of: particulate materials (clots, blood cell aggregates, etc.) from banked blood, and the storage and filtration of blood aspirated from the surgical field; and for the addition of fluids and pharmacological agents to the perfusion circuit.
