Valve Durability
Tissue Treatment - T6
Hancock® II valve uses T6 (sodium dodecyl sulfate) to remove phosopholipids from xenograft tissue. The T6 tissue treatment has been reported to be useful in decreasing the extent of calcification in glutaraldehyde-fixed porcine aortic valves.1
