How does Medtronic's Mission show in your day to day work?
"To alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life" is deeply rooted in our day to day work. The purpose of our work is to improve and save lives. By creating awareness about our therapies and penetrating them in geographies like South Asia, we are empowering the physicians here to improve procedural outcomes and thereby saving more lives.
Facilitating local continuous medical education programs for training upcoming interventional cardiologists and LIVE case transmissions of complex coronary cases for experts are few examples of mission driven activities we do.
What do you appreciate most about Medtronic?
Medtronic provides a very creative and collaborative work environment, which allows for open flow of communication. There is appreciation and encouragement for ability, execution and results.

Medtronic is an innovation-driven company. For employees in Sales and Marketing functions, there are frequent opportunities to learn about and market newer technologies / therapies to improve lives of patients.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Some of my greatest accomplishments are awards I have received in my time at Medtronic. Some awards I have received are a Global Marketing Excellence Award, Product Manager of the Year and Best Sales Person of the Year.
What is one random fact about you?
My father's mitral and aortic heart valves are manufactured by Medtronic.
