This advanced technology includes a patient monitor that enables you to “connect” your implanted device to your clinic via a standard phone line, allowing your doctor to conduct a routine checkup or review a special situation no matter where you are.**
Now the Medtronic CareLink Network has been enhanced with the addition of ConexusTM Wireless Telemetry for Medtronic's newest wireless devices. For patients who receive Medtronic ConcertoTM cardiac resynchronization therapy devices or VirtuosoTM implantable defibrillators will be able to use this new monitor and its special wireless telemetry features, including automatically scheduled follow-ups that occur while you sleep and continual monitoring of the status of your device.
