When to Use the Monitor
If your clinic offers remote monitoring and you meet the guidelines, your doctor may prescribe the Medtronic CareLink® Monitor for you. The monitor comes with complete instructions for use.
Your clinic will let you know when you should send your device information with the Medtronic CareLink Monitor or when you should visit the clinic. You should not transmit using the Medtronic CareLink Monitor, unless instructed to do so by your clinic. For emergencies, always dial 911 or follow other instructions from your clinic.
