How It Works

The Medtronic CareLink® Network is the Internet-based remote monitoring service for patients with Medtronic implanted cardiac devices and their clinics. It allows patients a convenient timely connection to their clinic.

Using a standard phone line, you can send your device information to your clinic from the comfort of your home or while traveling*.

The Medtronic CareLink® Monitor plugs into a standard phone line. The monitor gathers the information and sends it to a secure storage site. You do not need the Internet to transmit.

Patient confidentiality is a priority of the Network. The website is secure, protected by username and password for use by authorized clinic personnel.

Your clinic can see your device information by logging on to their computer and pulling up the information when and where they need it by using a special website. The website is secure, protected by username and password for use by authorized clinic personnel.

*The Medtronic CareLink Network is available in the continental US, Alaska and Hawaii.
