Affinity Pixie

Arterial Filter

Affinity Pixie Arterial Filter

One filter gives you the flexibility for both your infant and pediatric patients.

Overview

A pediatric arterial filter featuring ease of prime and effective air handling and filtration.

LOW PRIME

With just 39 mL prime volume, the Affinity Pixie™ Arterial Filter is used as part of strategies to minimize prime volume contribution to hemodilution.

HIGH MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED FLOW RATE

The filter’s maximum recommended flow rate of 3.2 L/min exceeds that of competing arterial filters and provides versatility of use with different patient sizes.

EXCELLENT FILTRATION

Effective filtration is provided by the unique 30 micron concentric folded screen design that maximizes the available filtration surface area within a small filter housing.

EASE OF PRIME, EFFECTIVE AIR HANDLING, AND EXCELLENT VISIBILITY

The Affinity Pixie Arterial Filter has been designed to have no “hidden” areas, such as opaque screen caps or urethane pleating and netting where air and particulate can become trapped. Horizontal surfaces are reduced for minimal bubble hang-up. The filter housing is completely clear for excellent visibility.

LOWER PRESSURE DROP

Just 30 mmHg pressure drop at the maximum flow rate of 3.2 L/min for gentle blood handling.
