Healthcare Education Grant with CME/CEU credits

To support third-party scientific meetings and conferences, including grand rounds, related to Medtronic’s approved therapies and related disease states. This type of meeting or conference may be sponsored by either a for-profit or a non-profit organization. Typical sponsors include professional societies, universities, hospitals and CME providers. The event must issue CME/CEU credits.

Healthcare Education Grant without CME/CEU credits

To support meetings and activities, including grand rounds and public education relative to disease states treated by Medtronic’s approved therapies. This type of meeting or activity may be sponsored by either a for-profit or a non-profit organization. Typical sponsors include professional societies, universities, hospitals and CME providers. The form is designed for activities that do not issue CME/CEU credits.

Fellowships

To partially subsidize accredited vascular surgery fellowship training programs by funding fellows’ salaries and educational activities related to disease states treated by Medtronic’s approved therapies. The recipient, except in rare instances, must be a tax-exempt charity. Only nominated training programs will be invited to apply. Specific scholarships for fellows to attend conferences may be requested under the “Attendance for Healthcare Professionals-in-Training” grant, below.
Please note: The form will be open to accept applications during the annual Grant review and nomination process held each spring.

Attendance for Healthcare Professional-in-Training

Bona fide training institutions or conference sponsors can apply to cover expenses for the healthcare professionals-in-training, such as a fellow to attend a qualifying conference. Generally, training institutions should be a tax-exempt organization, while conference sponsors may be either for-profit or tax-exempt.

International Product Donation

To request donated devices for the treatment of underserved patients for surgeries scheduled outside of the United States.

US Indigent Product Donations

To request donated devices for the treatment of indigent patients within the United States.

Exhibit Fee Only Requests

This selection is for requests where Medtronic is asked only to exhibit at a conference or other meeting venue.

Research Request

The Medtronic External Research Program (ERP) supports a global network of investigator-initiated research projects in the spirit of advancing medical and scientific knowledge. Focusing on the discovery, development and cultivation of cutting-edge therapies and diagnostics, the program fosters investigative research with the goal of improving the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes
