The Barrx™ 60 RFA focal catheter is indicated for use in the coagulation of bleeding and nonbleeding sites in the gastrointestinal tract including but not limited to the esophagus. Indications include Esophageal Ulcers, Mallory-Weiss tears, Arteriovenous Malformations, Angiomata, Barrett’s Esophagus, Dieulafoy Lesions, Angiodysplasia, Gastric Antral Vascular Ectasia (GAVE), and Radiation Proctitis (RP). 

  • Provides easy introduction into upper GI tract
  • 60% of the surface area of the Barrx™ 90 RFA focal catheter
  • Allows positioning within the esophagus and gastroesophageal junction
  • Provides for direct visualization of electrode during procedure
  • Utilizes standard endoscopic technique
  • Articulated electrode platform moves in 2-D, left to right & front to back, to ensure tissue contact

Product Details

The Barrx™ ultra long RFA focal catheter is indicated for use in  the coagulation of bleeding and nonbleeding sites in the gastrointestinal tract including but not limited to the esophagus. Indications include Esophageal Ulcers, Mallory-Weiss tears, Arteriovenous Malformations, Angiomata, Barrett’s Esophagus, Dieulafoy Lesions, Angiodysplasia, Gastric Antral Vascular Ectasia (GAVE), and Radiation Proctitis (RP).

  • Provides easy introduction into upper GI tract
  • Due to a larger (2x) surface area compared to the Barrx™ 90 RFA focal catheter, the Barrx™ ultra long RFA focal catheter treats comparable non-circumferential areas of Barrett’s esophagus in less time than the Barrx™ 90 RFA focal catheter
  • Allows positioning within the esophagus and gastroesophageal junction
  • Provides for direct visualization of electrode during procedure
  • Utilizes standard endoscopic technique
  • Articulated electrode platform moves in 2-D, left to right & front to back, to ensure tissue contact
