Overview:

Sleeve Creation, Simplified

The GastriSail™ gastric positioning system is a three-in-one surgical device for the application of suction, decompression and to serve as a sizing guide for gastric and bariatric procedures, such as sleeve gastrectomy. It is the only device on the market with a flexible sail and LED lights that has the ability to promote more consistent sleeve creation1 and greater procedural efficiency1 when compared to a standard bougie.

GastriSail™ Gastric Positioning System Features & Benefits

Benefit

Why This Matters In Your Procedures

Dual Lumen Tube

• One trans-oral insertion
• All in one sizing, suction and irrigation system

May reduce the potential for esophageal trauma with only one transoral insertion needed versus the up to three insertions for sizing, decompression and leak testing needed for competitive products1

Deployable Sail

Extends the stomach radially, positioning into a natural, non-contracted orientation

Automatic placement of the main tube along the lesser curve and deflection of the tip toward the pylorus increases efficiency of placement and positioning of the bougie, with a reduced total procedural time2

LED Lights

Better visualization of:

• The GastriSail™ system as it passes from the esophagus into the stomach
• The sail during dissection
• The main tube during staple line placement

May decrease the clinical risk associated with resecting the bougie due to its ability to provide enhanced delineation and visualization2

Perforations at the Distal Tip

• Regulated suction provides desired apposition of the anterior and posterior stomach walls and ensures correct calibration
• Allows for leak testing capabilities

Allows for better alignment of anterior and posterior walls which may lead to decreased incidence of spiraled sleeve2
