Download & Install the Emprint™ Procedure Planning Application Software & Updates

Download and install the newest software, security and operating system updates to ensure your application is current for the Emprint™ procedure planning application. This program will only work on compatible Windows® operating systems, and is not for use on Apple® computers.

Download & Install Microsoft Operating System and Security Updates

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7

Follow these steps to download and install updates:

  1. Download the OS and Security Updates zip file.
  2. Right-click the downloaded Zip file and select Extract Here to choose a location for the extracted folder.
  3. Double-click the extracted folder to open it.
  4. Double-click the OS_Security_updates.bat file inside the folder to start the installation. A window will open on the screen.
    **Note: The planning laptop should always be connected to a power supply before you perform this step.**
  5. Wait until all updates are completed and the window closes.
    **Note: Don't press any keys to continue for faster installation, as some installation processes may not be fully completed.**
  6. Open the logfile.txt (which is in the same folder noted above) to check that all the updates have been installed.
  7. Close all windows.
  8. Shut down the planning laptop by clicking the Start button, then selecting Shutdown.
Download & Install Configuration Translation Utility

Follow these steps to download and install the utility:

  1. Download the Configuration Translation Utility zip file.
  2. Right-click the downloaded zip file and select Extract Here to choose a location for the extracted folder.
  3. Copy the extracted folder.
  4. Log in to planning laptop with Administrator credentials (if not already logged in).
  5. Paste the copied folder onto the desktop of planning laptop.
  6. Double click on the folder.
  7. Now Right-click on the “Translation-Utility.exe” and select “Create Shortcut”. A shortcut is created.
  8. Right-click on the “Translation-Utility.exe - Shortcut” and then select “Cut”. Then right-click on the desktop and select “Paste.
  9. Rename the shortcut copied on the desktop from “Translation-Utility.exe - Shortcut” to “Translation-Utility.exe.”
  10. A shortcut is created on the desktop of planning laptop.
