Therapy Development Examples
Medtronic is specifically seeking partners to help advance therapies to treat unmet medical needs, especially diseases of the brain or diseases that have pathology within the brain. This presentation shows the pre-clinical proof of concept data from two programs with the goals of treating Alzheimer’s disease and Huntington’s disease.
We believe that combining our infusion systems and expertise with your drug and expertise will reduce further failures in attempts to treat brain diseases and lead to critical successes.
Module 4: Examples of Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s Disease Therapy Development
The presentation below describes two examples of drug-device therapy development: intracerebroventricular (ICV) delivery of anti-amyloid antibody for Alzheimer’s disease and intraparenchymal (IPa) delivery and efficacy of siRNA for Huntington’s disease.
