for each position. If you use the “Apply Online" on
the Search for Job Opportunities page your

not associated with a specific position.
Q: Should I submit my resume
for every job I am interested in?
A: Yes. To ensure consideration
for current job opportunities, please apply directly to positions
that match your skills and experience by selecting “Apply

department for review.
Q: Can I submit a unique
resume tailored to each position in which I have an interest?
A: Yes. You may submit an
individual resume and cover letter for each position you are
interested in by using the "Apply to this Job" feature
on each job description.
Q: How will I know
that you have received my resume? How long will it take to
get a response from Medtronic after I’ve applied?
A: You will receive an immediate
thank you online when the submission is completed. Additionally,
when you enter your email address an electronic response will
acknowledge the receipt of your resume submission. Medtronic's
goal is to acknowledge the receipt of every resume. A Medtronic
representative will contact you if we determine your unique
qualifications, skills, and experience are a match for our
job needs. If you do not hear from us in 30 days you can assume
that we are proceeding with candidates whose backgrounds more
closely matched the requirements of the position.
Q: I sent in my application
online and want to apply for a second job. Do I need to send
in another application?
A: Yes. We encourage you
to apply specifically for each opportunity where your skills
and background are a good match. In so doing, you heighten
your consideration because our electronic system will route
your resume directly to those involved in the hiring decisions.
If you do not do so, while we do search our resume database,
we cannot guarantee that you will be considered for the opportunity.

for jobs in addition to the one I’ve applied for? What
is the best way to ensure this?
A: To ensure you are considered
for every position you are interested in, apply directly for
each specific opportunity. Your resume is then routed directly
to those involved in the hiring decision. Please be advised
that once your resume has been entered into our electronic
database, the skills identified on your resume may be matched
in candidate searches against those skills required for open
positions even though you may not have applied directly to
that position. However, if you do not apply for the specific
position, we cannot ensure a match of your qualifications to
a specific position. We cannot guarantee you will be considered
for future opportunities unless you apply for specific positions.
