Career Path within Medtronic
I joined Medtronic in late May 2005 in a position within the Physician Training group. Within two months, I was promoted to Product Manager for our market-leading Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm stent graft. I will be involved with both new launches and day-to-day running of the product. |

Why did you join Medtronic?
I am fascinated with the prospect of helping people through medical technology. I see enormous opportunity at the interface of devices, biologics and pharmaceuticals and believe that Medtronic will lead this convergence. I am excited to take part in forging the future of healthcare. |
How is Medtronic differentiated from its competitors?
In a number of ways:
- Integrity – Many of Medtronic's physician customers see the company as a true partner in delivering healthcare innovations. This is made possible because of the long history of trust the company and its employees have engendered within the medical community.
- People – I remain extremely impressed by the intelligence, compassion and commitment of Medtronic employees.
- Opportunity – For the company, its operating businesses and its employees.
