Enhanced Access, Maneuverability, and Tissue Contact
The FlexCath® Steerable Sheath is a unidirectional, deflectable sheath used to help position cryocatheters for enhanced access, maneuverability, and tissue contact. It deflects through 90 degrees and has a 5.5 cm reach when deflected at 90 degrees.
The FlexCath percutaneous catheter introducer is fitted with a hemostatic valve. The valve allows for the introduction, withdrawal, and exchange of catheters and guide wires, while preventing air ingress and minimizing blood loss.
The Arctic Front Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter is inserted over a guide wire through the FlexCath sheath to the left atrium, where the cryoballoon can be inflated and positioned to efficiently isolate the pulmonary veins with minimal energy applications. Complex, 3-dimensional mapping is not required.
The Freezor MAX Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter is inserted over a guide wire through the FlexCath sheath to the left atrium, and may be used as an adjunctive device in the endocardial treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with the Arctic Front cryoballoon.

Compatibility
