Overview
The ECMOtherm II Heat Exchanger is used in cardiopulmonary support procedures to cool and warm the blood. Typical applications include total body perfusion, coronary perfusion and rapid infusion.
- Stainless steel heat exchanger tubes provide reliable and consistent performance
- Double seal between blood and water compartments allow for added safety
- Luer-lock port on blood inlet facilitates air removal
- Blood outlet temperature adapter provides accurate blood temperatures
- Silicone coating applied to stainless steel tubes and inserts enhances blood biocompatibility
- Blood flow rate up to 2 L/min
- 1/4” inlet and outlet
- 50 ml prime volume
ECMO Holders
- Multi-axis holder design
- Ensures secure placement of the oxygenator
- Oxygenator and heat exchanger sections of the holder rotate and spin within their plane to provide optimum flexibility for custom applications
- Facilitates easier priming
