Intersept Cardiotomy Reservoirs
Cardiotomy reservoirs are indicated for use in cardiopulmonary bypass circuits during surgery. Intended uses include an air-fluid separation chamber, a temporary storage reservoir for priming solutions, filtration of particulate materials (clots, blood cell aggregates, etc.) from banked blood, the storage and filtration of blood aspirated from the surgical field and for the addition of fluids and pharmacological agents to the perfusion circuit.

Cardiotomy Reservoirs/Blood Collection
Cardiotomy reservoirs are indicated for use in cardiopulmonary bypass circuits during surgery. Intended uses include an air-fluid separation chamber, a temporary storage reservoir for priming solutions, filtration of particulate materials (clots, blood cell aggregates, etc.) from banked blood, the storage and filtration of blood aspirated from the surgical field and for the addition of fluids and pharmacological agents to the perfusion circuit.
The Intersept® Cardiotomy Reservoirs offer the following features:
- Maximum capacity of 2,600 ml.
- Eight 1/4" ports and one 3/8" port with universal caps for a variety of procedures
- Anti-vortexing plate enhances performance at low-level
- Convenient conversion to postoperative chest drainage collection on filtered models 1351 and CB1351
- Available filtered (Model 1351) and unfiltered (Model 1350)
- 20 micron filtration capability
