Prescribing the Meniett Device for Ménière’s Disease
All ENT specialists, otologists, and neurotologists can prescribe the Meniett device for Ménière's disease. Please fax a completed Meniett prescription form for your patient to (866) 463-8726. Download a prescription form.
Once we receive the prescription, our Meniett representative will contact your Ménière's disease patient within 48 hours to discuss filling the prescription.
Medical Necessity Letter for Reimbursement
Currently, not all insurance carriers automatically reimburse for the Meniett device. Our Therapy Access department may be able to help your Ménière’s disease patient get coverage for the Meniett device. Please ask your patient to call us at (877) 966-3350 or email us for more information.
Also, it may help your patient obtain reimbursement if you write a letter of medical necessity for his or her insurance provider. This letter typically includes the history of your patient’s condition and a description of other Ménière’s disease treatments that were unsuccessful. Download a sample letter of medical necessity.
