Various techniques of cervical laminoplasty have been developed, all with the goal of increasing canal space and providing secure laminar fixation. The Centerpiece™ Plate Fixation System is designed to provide a means to prevent expulsion of graft material after a laminoplasty has been performed.
The Centerpiece System offers a versatile procedural solution for cervical laminoplasty. The Centerpiece System is intended for use in the lower cervical and upper thoracic spine (C3 – T3) in laminoplasty procedures.

There are potential risks associated with the use of this device, some of which include: disassembly, bending, loosening, slippage and/or breakage of any or all of the components; loss of neurological function, appearance of radiculopathy, and/or dural tears.
