Don’t roughhouse.

Never push while on jungle gyms, slides, seesaws, swings, and other equipment.1

Use playground equipment properly.

Slide feet first, don't climb outside guardrails and don’t stand on swings.1

Be aware of clothing.

Don't wear clothes with drawstrings or other strings at the playground. Drawstrings, purses, and necklaces could get caught on equipment.1

Wear appropriate safety equipment.

Don’t forget helmets, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards. 2

Ride on safe surfaces.

Use bicycles, scooters, in-line skates and skateboards only on smooth-paved roads. Learn how to stop properly.2
