An Advisa MRI or Revo MRI SureScan pacemaker and the CapSureFix® MRI SureScan Model 5086 MRI pacing leads comprise the implantable portion of a SureScan Pacing System. Refer to the table below for a summary of the system components.

The Medtronic Advisa MRI SureScan Pacemaker Model A2DR01 is a mutliprogrammable, cardiac system that monitors and regulates the patients heart rate by providing single or dual chamber rate-responsive bradycardia pacing and atrial tachyarrhythmia therapies. |

The Medtronic Revo MRI SureScan Pacemaker Model RVDR01 is a mutliprogrammable, bipolar pacing system that regulates heart rate through rate-responsive pacing. The implanted system must consist solely of a Medtronic Revo MRI SureScan Model RVDR01 and two CapSureFix MRI SureScan Model 5086 MRI leads. |

The Medtronic CapSureFix MRI 5086 MRI pacing lead is designed for use in
the MRI environment when used in combination with an Advisa MRI or Revo MRI SureScan Pacemaker. The CapSureFix MRI 5086 MRI lead is a steroid-eluting, bipolar, implantable, screw-in, ventricular/atrial, transvenous lead designed for pacing and sensing applications. |

The SureScan Application Software allows the commercially available Medtronic CareLink® Model 2090 programmer to be used with SureScan Pacing System. The SureScan software contains the programmer application for the pacing system, including the MRI SureScan feature, a mode of operation that allows pacemaker patients to undergo MRI scans while being safely supported with appropriate pacing therapy.
