Did You Know — Spring/Summer 2006

There are two types of neurostimulation systems: non-rechargeable and rechargeable. In fact, Medtronic just released their newest non-rechargeable device, the RESTOREPRIME™ Neurostimulation System.

RestorePRIME non-rechargeable neurostimulator

What are the Benefits of the RESTOREPRIME Non-Rechargeable Neurostimulator?
The RESTOREPRIME Neurostimulator is a small device with more coverage and control for pain than any other non-rechargeable neurostimulation system. The RESTOREPRIME Neurostimulator has the greatest number of program options (up to 32) available to treat your pain of any non-rechargeable neurostimulation system. It also allows your physician to fine-tune the delivery of pain-blocking stimulation.

Who is a Good Candidate for a RESTOREPRIME Non-Rechargeable Neurostimulator?
A good candidate for the RESTOREPRIME Neurostimulator would be someone who is suffering from chronic pain with low to moderate pain management requirements and who can benefit from the added convenience of a non-rechargeable neurostimulator.

Is the RESTOREPRIME Non-Rechargeable Neurostimulator Right for Everyone?
Your doctor can help determine if the RESTOREPRIME Neurostimulator is the right option for you. It is possible that your current system may still be the best fit for you. Each neurostimulation system is designed with special features that can be tailored for different needs. The extra features of the RESTOREPRIME Non-Rechargeable Neurostimulator may be of more benefit to some than to others.
