Ménière's Therapy

To lessen the dizziness caused by Ménière's disease, Medtronic offers Meniett® therapy. It includes a small, portable device that delivers air pressure pulses to the inner ear. Doctors believe these pulses may help reduce the swelling and pressure thought to cause the symptoms of Ménière’s disease.

For Ménière’s Disease

Ménière's disease is an inner ear condition that causes dizziness or vertigo, hearing loss, and ringing in the ears (tinnitus). While its cause is unknown, doctors believe Ménière's disease is the result of too much inner ear pressure from excess inner ear fluid. Our Meniett therapy delivers air pressure pulses to the inner ear. Some scientists think that the pressure pulses from the Meniett device may help reduce the inner ear swelling and pressure, which may help relieve your vertigo and dizziness symptoms.
