Overview
The AneuRx AAAdvantage® Stent Graft treats abdominal aortic aneurysms using a minimally invasive procedure called endovascular stent grafting. The AneuRx AAAdvantage Stent Graft reinforces the weakened wall of the vessel to prevent the aneurysm from rupturing. The AneuRx AAAdvantage Stent Graft is a woven polyester tube externally supported by a tubular metal web that expands to a pre-established diameter when placed in the artery.
Placement
The AneuRx AAAdvantage Stent Graft is placed inside of the abdominal aortic aneurysm using a delivery catheter (a long tube-like device that places the stent graft within the blood vessel).
