Duran AnCore annuloplasty rings and bands range in size from 25-35 millimeters to fit your specific need.
Placement
Whether you receive a Duran AnCore annuloplasty ring or band depends on your particular condition. A ring or band is implanted at the base of the valve where it attaches to the heart.
Features
Flexible polyester Duran AnCore annuloplasty rings or bands preserve the natural geometry and flexibility of your valve annulus. This flexibility allows your repaired mitral or tricuspid valve to continuously move and change shape and size just as a natural valve does. Duran AnCore annuloplasty rings or bands are radiopaque, which means they show up clearly on x-rays and in other diagnostic tests. This makes it easier for your doctor to determine if the implant is doing the job it's supposed to.
