Your Meniett Treatment Plan

Meniett therapy is easy and convenient

Meniett therapy is easy to do and each treatment takes 5 minutes

Before You Begin Meniett Therapy

First you’ll get a prescription so you can order your Meniett device. Then your doctor will place a tiny vent tube in your eardrum. The vent tube procedure is usually done in the doctor’s office, so you won’t have to check into the hospital. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes.

Your Treatment Plan

Doctors usually prescribe 3 Meniett treatments a day for Ménière's disease. Each Meniett treatment takes about 5 minutes. Once you have your Meniett device, your doctor will show you how to use it. The device is small and easy to use, so you can do your treatments at home, work, or just about anywhere.

6-Week Trial Period

Like many other Ménière's disease treatments, Meniett therapy doesn’t help every Ménière's disease patient. That’s why the Meniett device has a 6-week trial period. It takes about 6 weeks for most Ménière's disease patients to know if Meniett therapy will help.

During the 6-week trial period, it’s extremely important to follow your prescription every day and don’t skip any Meniett treatments. If you skip treatments, you won’t know for sure if the device can help your Ménière's disease. The Meniett device automatically records how often you use it.

If your Ménière's disease responds to Meniett therapy, your dizziness and vertigo attacks will become less frequent or less intense. Be sure to keep following your Meniett prescription every day. You’ll also have regular follow-up visits with your doctor to monitor your Ménière's disease, check the vent tube, etc.

If Your Ménière’s Disease Doesn’t Respond

If you do your Meniett treatments as prescribed for 6 weeks and your symptoms aren’t any better, then your Ménière's disease may not respond to Meniett therapy. You can return the device for a refund within the 6-week trial period, and your doctor may recommend surgical treatment for your Ménière's disease.
