Your Healthcare Team

As the patient, you are the most important person on your healthcare team. Take charge of your healthcare: write down your symptoms, ask questions about Ménière's disease, and follow your doctor’s prescription. This will help the rest of your healthcare team help you even more.

Primary Care Doctor

This is probably the first healthcare professional you’ll see about your symptoms. If he or she thinks you have Ménière's disease, you’ll be sent to an ear specialist or ear, nose, and throat specialist (ENT).

Ear Specialist or ENT Specialist

These are the doctors who diagnose and treat Ménière's disease. Otologists and neurotologists are ear specialists. ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialists are also called otolaryngologists.
Find a specialist in your local area.

You’ll see your doctor for regular follow-up appointments to monitor your Ménière's disease and treatment.
