Activa® Therapy

Patient Experience — Tremor

71-Year-Old Tremor Patient — Case Study
Essential tremor severely affected the hands of this 71-year-old male patient. He required assistance with eating and self-care, was unable to write legibly or pursue his favorite hobbies and recreational activities, and had to discontinue his career. Pharmacotherapy with propranolol and primidone had little effect on his tremor and caused side effects. After receiving Activa® Tremor Control Therapy, the patient was able to independently assume eating and self-care, write legibly, and resume recreational and social activities.
