Pacing

1-2-3 Follow-Up with the Kappa® 900 Pacing System

Depending on your patient’s condition, follow-up with the Kappa 900 Pacing System can be a few simple steps:

1. Tap Auto-Identify to automatically:

  • ID and interrogate the device
  • Print the Initial Interrogation report, including the Arrhythmia Summary

2. Review the following:

  • Longevity and Battery Voltage
  • Ventricular Capture Management™ results
  • Sensing Assurance™ results
  • Chronic Lead Impedance
  • Arrhythmia Summary Report

3. Tap the Fast Path™ button next to the Checklist™ icon, then:

  • Perform the Atrial Strength Duration Test
  • Reprogram outputs (if called for by test)

4. Tap the Fast Path button next to the Checklist icon, then:

  • Select and print applicable reports (usually only the Strength Duration Threshold Test Report and/or Final Report)

5. If the patient is symptomatic and the data indicates the need for other tests, go to the Tests icon and select the appropriate test.

6. If your clinic calls for a Magnet/Non-Magnet ECG strip as part of its protocol, create a new Follow-Up checklist by adding this test to the Quick Look Follow-Up.
