Linking Symptoms and Rhythms

The RevealŪ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) uniquely provides symptom-rhythm correlation for up to 3 years. This may help rule in or rule out cardiac arrhythmias as the cause of infrequent recurrent unexplained syncope.1,2,3

In fact, studies show that in recurrent syncope patients who receive a Reveal:

  • Approximately 25% of patients are diagnosed to have arrhythmias4
  • Cardiac arrhythmias are excluded in another 20 to 42% of patients3,4

The following case studies show ECG records captured by a Reveal ICM during syncopal episodes. Each highlights the benefit of correlating unexplained symptoms and heart rhythms.
