Medtronic steroid-eluting silicone ICD leads are designed to meet the clinical needs of every physician — low DFTs, potential for greater ICD longevity, resistance to fracture and abrasion, and chronic durability.

And Medtronic guarantees this with a chronic performance report containing chronic data on more than 5,000 Medtronic ICD leads from a prospective, long-term, multicenter study.

Tachyarrhythmia Product Performance Report

Medtronic monitors the performance of its commercially available ICD leads through two sources:

• Returned product analysis, and
• Tachyarrhythmia Chronic Systems Study.

The data from these sources are reviewed by a board and then published in the Tachyarrhythmia Product Performance Report (available from a Medtronic representative).

Data in the report include:

• Lead performance
• Event-free survival rates
• Survival probability
• Lead-related adverse events
