OptiVol® Fluid Status Monitoring
Together with the Heart Failure Management Report,* OptiVol provides essential insight into patients' clinical status
- Proactively tracks and objectively monitors fluid changes using intrathoracic impedance measurements
- May be used by clinicians to detect early stages of pulmonary congestion before symptoms appear
- May help to allow for timely clinical intervention
- Serves as an educational tool to improve adherence to prescribed treatment plan
- Available on Medtronic CareLink® Network, enabling a check on fluid status from a patient's home
*OptiVol is adjunctive to existing evaluation and assessment tools.
