SureScan® Pacing Systems Verification
Ways to Easily Verify the Presence of a SureScan® Pacing System
Conditional MR use of the SureScan® Pacing Systems begins with confirming that a patient's device and leads are MR Conditional.
1. ID Card identifies patient as having a pacing system that is MR Conditional

2. Consult the patient records to verify only a Medtronic MR-conditional Pacing System (device and leads) constructed from the following components are implanted:
- Medtronic MRI SureScan MRI pacemaker (models Advisa MRI™ A3DR01
- Ensura MRI™ EN1DR01, EnRhythm MRI™ EMDR01)
- Medtronic CapSureFix® 5086MRI leads (models: 5086-45, 5086-52, 5086-58)
- Medtronic CapSure Sense MRI™ leads (models: 4574-45, 4574-53, 4074-52, 4074-58)
3. Confirm the following conditions have been met:
- Implant> six weeks
- Pectoral implant
- Pacing Thresholds<2.0 V @ 0/4 ms
- Lead impedance 200-1,500 ohms
- No other devices, leads (including abandoned), adaptors or extenders present
4. Program MRI SureScan ON before the scan (OFF after the scan)
5. Patient ready to get an MRI scan
