Leadership Development Rotation Program

The LDRP puts you in the middle of the action — in strategic positions with frequent exposure to company leaders, core businesses, and technologies where you can make meaningful contributions to the company and to the lives of patients. The 3-year program moves you through two unique assignments giving you a broad understanding of the company and in-depth functional experience. You will have opportunities to build a valuable network of peers, managers, and leaders across the company.

Program Structure

  • First assignments are based in Minnesota where you and your colleagues have an enterprise-wide lens at the corporate level. You will add value on your project and take part in cohort-wide development on key strategies in our organization.
  • Second assignments are across the US and aligned to our Business Groups. They provide a therapy and patient focused opportunity in key functional areas. These roles prepare you to understand Medtronic from a critical business lens, the product and the patient. These roles are often global in nature — working across regions to provide access to products in a variety of regions.
  • You will participate in rich developmental experiences to help you fulfill your personal and professional potential, including functional and peer mentoring programs, functional training, and leadership workshops.
