Medtronic promotes public transparency and has committed to disclosing its donations, including those made to U.S. healthcare professionals or healthcare organizations affiliated with those professionals on the Medtronic public website. In addition, Medtronic discloses all pertinent donations in accordance with applicable law, including the National Physician Payment Transparency Program: Open Payments (also known as the Sunshine Act), and similar state transparency laws. To that end, Medtronic will provide funding for approved fellowship grants only after information identifying the individual recipient fellow(s) has been received.

Specific Fellowship Grant Information

ADULT AND PEDIATRIC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY FELLOWSHIPS

This program is designed to partially subsidize accredited clinical Adult EP and Pediatric EP fellowship programs in the United States. The Medtronic Fellowship funding process requires an annual application, which must be submitted and reviewed each year. The level of support is based on Medtronic's annual budget and the number of qualified applicants. Each year Medtronic reviews its requirements and criteria regarding fellowship funding and may make changes to the program as necessary.


CARDIAC SURGERY FELLOWSHIPS

If you are applying for funding support of both Coronary and Structural Heart fellowship programs, please submit only one request and specify in the space provided on the request form.

This program is intended to provide support to academic institutions located in the U.S. focused on clinical training of Structural Heart Fellows to advance the understanding and treatment of structural heart disease.

Online Fellowship applications are accepted between January 2nd and April 15th.

INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY FELLOWSHIPS

If you are applying for funding support of both Coronary and Structural Heart fellowship programs, please submit only one request and specify in the space provided on the request form.

This program is intended to provide support to academic institutions located in the U.S. focused on clinical training of Interventional Cardiology Fellows to advance the understanding and treatment of coronary artery disease.

Online Fellowship applications are accepted annually from January 2 through April 15.

Each year Medtronic reviews its requirements and criteria regarding fellowship funding and may make changes to the program as necessary.


Restorative Therapies Group Fellowship Requests

Each year the Medtronic Educational Department supports a limited number of fellowships for Neuromodulation Therapies. If you are interested in applying for a Medtronic Educational Fellowship, you will need to complete the online application.

To subsidize accredited fellowship programs by funding fellows' salaries and educational activities related to disease states treated by Medtronic therapies, the recipient, except in rare instances, must be a tax-exempt charity.
