Cardiotomy Reservoirs/Blood Collection

Cardiotomy Reservoirs are indicated for use in cardiopulmonary bypass circuits during surgery. Intended uses include an air-fluid separation chamber, a temporary storage reservoir for priming solutions, filtration of particulate materials (clots, blood cell aggregates, etc.) from banked blood, the storage and filtration of blood aspirated from the surgical field and for the addition of fluids and pharmacological agents to the perfusion circuit.
