In fact, we have recently updated our infusion set offering! The MiniMed™ Mio™ Advance infusion set is the newest infusion set from Medtronic. This infusion set is indicated for all ages and can make changing infusion sets simpler, faster, and more convenient. The MiniMed™ Mio™ Advance infusion set can be inserted with one hand, allowing for placement in hard to reach areas (e.g. back of the arm). It also has a disposable, pre-loaded serter so patients never have to see the needle throughout the insertion process. Learn more here.
Please note because of this update, we have now phased out the MiniMed™ Mio infusion set.
Patients previously using the MiniMed™ Mio infusion set will need to take action to update their scheduled orders to the MiniMed™ Mio™ Advance infusion set by doing one of the following:
- Updating their scheduled orders to the MiniMed™ Mio™ Advance infusion set on Diabetes.Shop
- Calling 1-800-646-4633 option 2 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m. CT) to update their scheduled orders over the phone
