IMPLANTABLE PAIN THERAPIES AND BASIC PROGRAMMING OVERVIEW (1.0 CNE):

For: Allied Health Professionals (RNs, NPs) associated with physicians or practices specializing in pain management.

Objectives:

  • Become familiar with spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and targeted drug delivery (TDD) including prevalence, cost, indications, benefits, risks, and patient selection considerations for SCS and TDD
  • Learn basic programming techniques used for therapy management

Description: The first part of the course provides an overview of spinal cord stimulation and targeted drug delivery including prevalence, cost, indications, benefits, risks, and patient selection considerations for SCS and TDD. The second part provides an overview of the basic functionality of the N'Vision clinician programmer.
