The Soletra neurostimulator works with one extension and one lead, which is approved for the treatment of essential tremor and dystonia. Two Soletra neurostimulators are required for bilateral therapy, or stimulation of both sides of the brain. Bilateral neurostimulation using the Soletra neurostimulator is approved for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and dystonia.
