Prostate Symptom Test

The American Urological Association (AUA) developed a Symptom Score Index to help assess the severity of your BPH symptoms. This diagnostic system includes seven questions to help measure how severe your BPH may be — ranging from mild to severe.

What your test score means:

0-7 Points – Mild
Your Enlarged Prostate (BPH) Symptoms are considered mild. Although there may be no need to see a doctor, learning more about BPH could be helpful.

8-19 Points – Moderate
Your Enlarged Prostate (BPH) Symptoms are considered moderate. It’s a good time to take action and learn more about treatment options for an enlarged prostate.

20-35 Points – Severe
Your Enlarged Prostate (BPH) Symptoms are considered severe and most certainly affecting your daily life. It’s important to talk to a doctor about your symptoms.
