The Soletra neurostimulator works with one extension and one lead. Two Soletra neurostimulators are required for bilateral therapy, or stimulation of both sides of the brain. Bilateral neurostimulation using two Soletra neurostimulators is approved for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
