Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN USA

The Global Heroes program is a cooperative effort between Twin Cities in Motion, the organizers of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, and the Medtronic Foundation.
The Global Heroes program recognizes runners from around the world who have a medical device to treat conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, chronic pain, cancer, obesity, stroke, and spinal and neurological disorders.
Both events take place Sunday, October 9, 2016. Global Hero team members arrive on Thursday, October 6 and can depart October 9 or Monday, October 10.
Known as The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America, the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend is a three-day celebration of fitness that includes the Medtronic TC Family Events, TC 5K, TC 10K, Medtronic TC 10 Mile, and the marathon. Visit https://www.tcmevents.org/ for more information.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Runners with eligible devices or conditions must consult with a physician who deems you medically fit to participate in the race (certification of physician approval to participate must be presented if runner is selected for the Global Heroes program).
No. Medtronic and Twin Cities in Motion employees and their immediate family members are not eligible.
No. Previous Global Heroes are not eligible to apply again.
