When tapping the notification, pop-ups in the app will guide the patient to resolve the situation.
Apple iOS users can force-close any app by swiping up. For MyCareLink Heart, this action interrupts the connection between a patients heart device and the CareLink™ network.
If a patient swipes up, “Keep Connected” on MyCareLink Heart app will intercept this behavior and provide timely and actionable patient education.

The following are examples of connectivity status notifications visible from the MyCareLink Heart App home screen that notify the patient of an action needed to support connectivity. When tapping HELP, the notification will guide the patient to resolve the situation.
Bluetooth is Off. Your ICM will not be able to transmit information to the app. Follow instructions in the app to turn ON Bluetooth.
Notifications from MyCareLink Heart App have been turned off in the app settings. Follow instructions in the app to turn ON notifications from the MyCareLink Heart App.
Your smartphone or tablet is not connected to the internet. Follow instructions in the app to reconnect.
MyCareLink Heart App has been closed or the patients ICM has been out of range, greater than 5 feet, 1.5 meters. Follow instructions in the app to learn more on how to keep the App open. Stay within 5 feet to support connectivity between the ICM and the MyCareLink Heart App.
