Minimally Invasive Ivor-Lewis Esophagectomy Simulation

This series will advance the healthcare professional by systematically describing the order of port insertion while highlighting each respective port along the way. Interactive models allow you to navigate the tools into laparoscopic and thoracic ports to understand appropriate port placement and progress of an operation with corresponding dynamic changes in port utilization.

Each section will be followed by an interactive quiz where the student will insert each instrument into the correct port to demonstrate competency in understanding port placement and utilization of a minimally invasive esophagectomy.

You will learn about:
  • Laparoscopic: Port-instrument Utilization
  • Laparoscopic: Port Site Placement
  • Thoracoscopic: Port-instrument Utilization
