(Pulse oximeter measurements are statistically distributed; about two-thirds of pulse oximeter measurements can be expected to fall in this accuracy [ARMS] range.) ‡ Per Masimo’s Directions for Use, there are no accuracy claims below the 70% to 100% range for SpO2 for any sensors when used with Masimo SET monitors, except for the LNOP Blue sensor. For its Rainbow SET monitors used with Rainbow sensors, Masimo’s published specifications are ± 3 digits (± 1 SD) accuracy in the 60% to 80% range for patients > 3 kg.
