Program Requirements

  • Sensor return requirement -to participate in the Nellcor™ pulse oximetry sensor sustainability program, a participating facility must return no less than 85% of its collected, used sensors to Medtronic (through the Cardinal Health recycling buckets).
  • For a committed Nellcor™ pulse oximetry account, participating the facility must maintain at least 85% of its pulse oximetry purchases with Medtronic.

  • Nellcor™ Pulse Oximetry Sensor Sustainability Programs are only available in the United States.

  • The Nellcor™ pulse oximetry monitoring system should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis or therapy and Is intended only as an adjunct in patient assessment.
